  • Information on the site is contributed by other users. We can not guarantee the accuracy of all contributions. Please take all recommendations as a pointer and not a guarantee of safety.

Privacy

  • Your email address is yours. We will never share it without your direct permission.
  • Your email address will be used for communication about your account.
  • Other communication will only be sent with your permission.
  • Your full name is private and used to confirm who you are and address you.
  • Your user id, profile ids, profile descriptions, profile allergy lists, information entered about foods, comments and reported reactions are publicly viewable so others can predict if they would have the same reaction.

Site Policies

  • Play nice with others. Keep your posts accurate and polite. We reserve the right to edit or delete anything off topic or inflammatory.
  • Please only post information you have direct knowledge about. If you are typing something in from a product label that’s great. If you are assuming details beyond that please stick to allergies you know in detail.
  • Corporations are welcome to share product information using a corporate account. Please contact us to set one up. (It’s free. We just want to make sure you are who you say you are.)
  • Posting publicly viewable information on the site including but not limited to comments, food data, advice, etc grants us a non exclusive right to use the information as we see fit.
  • Information on the site is copyrighted. You have the right to copy it for personal use.
  • You can use our data to create publicly viewable allergy lists posted on your own site if you respect the following rules:
    • You can NOT use it for commercial purposes. It’s free here and should stay free.
    • You must clearly list this site as your source and include a link back.
    • You can NOT include any user details. For example you could say 1 reported reaction and provide a link to the details but not provide them yourself. (Our users need to trust their specifics stay on the site.)
    • You must state if you have made changes. For example “Originally based on…”
